Our Story.

Welcome to Empathetix Psychology, where we prioritise an empathetic approach to mental health. Our Director and Principal Psychologist was inspired to start this company for the same reason she became a psychologist; to achieve and maintain meaningful change in the world by improving the mental health and wellbeing of people in need.

Our Team.

Empathetix Psychology tries to do therapy differently. We know therapy can sometimes feel clinical, stiff, or like you have to perform a certain version of yourself to be “doing it right.” That’s not what we’re about. Our team leads with empathy, curiosity, and a deep respect for the weird, wonderful complexity of being human. We know that when people feel safe, seen, and genuinely understood, they’re more willing to explore the hard stuff and that’s where real growth happens.

Our Services.

Empathetix Psychology is committed to providing the best possible mental health care. We offer a range of services, including individual and couples therapy, alongside comprehensive neuropsychological assessments. We believe everyone deserves personalised, evidence-based support that respects their unique needs and experiences.

Individual Therapy

Life can be tough, but you don't have to go through it alone.

Our Individual Therapy sessions provide an opportunity for you to  freely express your thoughts and emotions, no matter what they may be. Through personalised treatment plans, you can gain insight, develop coping strategies, and achieve meaningful change.

Diagnostic Assessments

Sometimes the answers you're looking for come from understanding yourself a little better.

Our assessments offer a supportive way to explore whether neurodivergence might be part of your experience. Whether you're seeking clarity for yourself or your adolescent child, we’re here to help you better understand how your brain works, so you can navigate the world in a way that feels more manageable.

Couples Therapy

Falling in love is easy, but staying together is hard and deciding to leave can also be really difficult.

Our Couples Therapy sessions provide a safe and supportive space to address the concerns within the relationship by developing healthier communication, letting go of past hurts, and moving into the next chapter.

Telehealth Options

Support that fits around your life,

wherever you are.

Our Telehealth sessions offer the benefits of therapy without the stress of travel, traffic, or taking extra time out of your day. Support should be within reach, which is why some of our services delivered remotely can come with a reduction in fees. We’re here to help you explore your options and find what works best for you.
